WWD’s 2022 Apparel & Retail CEO Summit, titled “An Era of Agility: The Path Ahead,” is set for October 25 and 26 and features a lineup of keynote speakers from leading retailers, brands and solution providers. innovation and in the future – ready strategies.
Speakers are taking the stage on Cipriani South Street in New York City at a critical time for the industry. As retailers and brands prepare for the peak holiday shopping season, businesses face new consumer demands, an intensified competitive landscape, labor shortages, inflation and a looming recession.
But the promise of a better future is in sight with the metaverse, advances on the sustainability front and technological advances.

For Day One, the event begins with breakfast and registration from 7:30 am to 8:30 am, with the opening session scheduled for 8:30 am. There are three sessions throughout the day, with networking and lunch breaks. The summit ends with a welcome cocktail. Later that evening there is the WWD Honors program and dinner. Winners include Tommy Hilfiger, Louis Vuitton’s Michael Burke, Zegna’s Alessandro Sartori and Loewe’s Jonathan Anderson. For the second day, there are two sessions and a networking break.
