What are we all at stake this long weekend?

Here in the UK, we’re having another long weekend for no particular reason. The government thought we could enjoy a day in the sun, you know? An opportunity to marvel at some lambs, catch up on chores, read a book, lounge on the beach, have some friends over for a BBQ, just a day off to do nothing in particular for no reason. We’ll be back in full force on Tuesday. Until then, what are you going to play this weekend? This is what we are clicking on!

I couldn’t resist playing Redfall so I hooked up with a friend the other night and even after everything everyone had told me, honestly it was still amazing. I’m still full of Arkane pills, but my God. One of my other friends is still playing it and I might get back in with them. it’s strangely not No fun. I do not know what it is

Ed and Liam discuss their ehhh responses to Redfall

I’m playing Quantum Break right now on PC Game Pass and so far, 7/10. At the time, slow motion powers and such felt like Remedy trying to bring bits of Max Payne to cover shooters. Playing now, he feels much more like a first crack in the foundation of Control. Context, huh.

Yo need a break from Redfall. Solace is found in Vampire Survivors sessions on the couch, maybe some Lost Judgment as it’s been too long since I’ve spent any time at the dance club.

I’m going to be spending the long weekend touring Citizen Sleeper again for the RPS Games Club. I haven’t played since my original run in November, and that seems like enough time to jump into a new save and follow the branches I skipped earlier. Playing is also a great excuse to check out the latest story update, Purge, which came out in March!

Good question. I was thinking about Redfall, but I’ve grown more tired of his clumsiness with each passing hour. Still, maybe I’ll give it one last chance before I slap it with my “I’d Rather Play Deep Rock Galactic” stamp.

I’m still Live A Live-ing this weekend, but with Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom coming out next week, there are also a couple of things I’d like to clear up before Link and company take over my life. I still have a bit to go with God Of War (2018), for example, and while I don’t think I’ll be close to finishing it by the time next Friday rolls around, I sure can give it a try. I also want to try and pass at least one of the Citizen Sleeper DLC updates for RPS Game Club. Will it all happen in the space of three days? Who can say. But that’s the plan.

Liam
Cheers for the long weekend Charlie. I don’t give a shit about your big party but I’ll reluctantly take the day off I guess. I would rather see the archaic institution that has deemed you better than the rest of us abolished, forcing you to return all things that have been stolen to those to whom it belongs, but ah! Good! However. Oh right, video games. Cassette Beasts. I’ll be playing Cassette Beasts.

Guys… Honkai Star Rail is really good. Actually good. If gacha games and annoying high pitched voices are a deal breaker for you, I get it. But there really is a lot to love here, not the least of which is how ridiculously flashy all of the character’s ultimate moves are. Himeko is my favorite, just casually sipping her cup of coffee as she orders her ship to bombard the enemy from orbit. She never stops making me happy.

is far!

In an ideal world, I intend to spend as much of Saturday as possible on a high hill. But since there’s a good chance it’s going to rain out, the backup plan is for me and my partner to finish our current series of Monster Roadtrip and then go back to clearing an elephant of a murder charge in Sherlock Holmes Chapter One.

But you, dear reader, what are you going to play this weekend?
