Hey, we don’t live in the 80s anymore. If you are still using wired microphones to record audio, whether for podcasts or TikTok videos, it’s time for an upgrade. A wireless upgrade. Like this one: For a limited time and while supplies last, Amazon seller Victoc-US has the Haphiz 2-in-1 Wireless Lavalier Microphones for just $12 when you use the link below and apply the promo code 70SZCJ91 Checkout. That’s $28 off.
Frankly, I’m a bit blown away by this price, as this is a really useful product that works well. The entire setup resides in a small black case, which acts as both a dock and a charger for the two wireless microphones. It also houses the small receiver that plugs into the Lightning port on your iPhone (or iPad).
You don’t have to mess with Bluetooth or anything like that. Just plug in that receiver, then turn on one or both microphones. Once the little LED turns green, you’re connected and ready to go. Now you can use any app that records audio.
Each microphone is good for four to six hours of operation on a charge, according to Haphiz, and the case can recharge each one up to five times. The case itself, which includes a handy LCD readout showing how much charge is left, charges via an included USB-C cable.
I did some basic tests with the microphones and was pleasantly surprised with the results. The audio sounded as good as with a traditional lavalier mic, even when I was 15 feet away from the receiver. (Haphiz says the effective range is actually more like 65 feet.) And in the video clips, my audio was perfectly in sync.
The microphones include “noise canceling technology,” which I put in quotes because the exact nature of the technology isn’t specified. I wasn’t expecting much, but when I recorded outdoors with the wind blowing and crickets chirping, the resulting audio was gloriously quiet; the mics didn’t pick up much beyond my voice.
Bottom line: if you are any kind of content creation that involves audio — podcasts, interviews, Instagram videos, all of that — something like this is definitely worth having. Not only will it improve the quality of your recordings, but it will also allow you to bring a second person into the mix.
For the price, the Haphiz 2-in-1 is hard to beat and highly recommended.
