The judges “strictly” faced with another shock dance as a popular couple returns home

Come and dance strictlyThe judges had to make another tough decision this week when two popular couples found themselves dancing.

Jayde Adams and her partner Karen Hauer were in the last two against Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu, but the judges unanimously decided to send comedian Adams home.

The scores from the Saturday night show are combined with the votes of the spectators to choose who will be in contention for elimination each week, with the judges making the final decision, but first explained that there is often a shocking result because the fans believe that their favorite contestants will be safe and will not vote for them, instead saving couples who appear to be in trouble.

CBBC star Rainford was singled out as one of the hottest dancers in this year’s lineup, while viewers loved the partnership of Adams and Hauer – only the second all-female couple on the show – calling it “joyful.”

Judge Anton Du Beke told the last two couples, “Well, that’s really terrible. Prom is such a difficult place to be, and it’s so disappointing and I thought both couples didn’t give in to that disappointment and they performed really, really well. “

Chief Judge Shirley Ballas agreed that “both of them were absolutely exceptional at the dance,” but along with Du Beke, Motsi Mabuse and Craig Revel Horwood, they all chose to save Rainford and Gu.

Saturday’s BBC-themed show, which celebrated the broadcaster’s centenary, saw Adams dance a Charleston to Victoria Wood’s “The Ballad of Barry and Freda (Let’s Do It)”, while Rainford hired the couple’s Choice al Grange Hill themed melody.

Adams, a Strictly superfan, said: “This was the best thing I’ve ever done in my life and I’ll take it to my grave, and it’s been a real pleasure to work with you. [Karen] and learn so much that it will go into my stuff, into my own work.

Hauer told her, “It was a rollercoaster of emotions for us, and you are so special, so powerful, so emotional and I loved every second. Thank you Jayde.”
