The ski area, known as Teton Village, 12 miles from the town of Jackson, is a horseshoe-shaped community of retail, lodging and resort administrative offices planted conveniently at the base of the ski area. Relatively quieter than Jackson, the village has several bars and restaurants and hosts concerts and après events during the winter.
However, this configuration of the Teton Village ski area poses a conundrum. Do you stay in Teton Village (rather dwarfed by the huge Four Seasons’ Hotel on the slope) and travel to Jackson Town for your evening entertainment, or do you stay in Jackson Town and have to travel 30 minutes by bus or rental car to the slopes every day? Below we have options for finding the perfect answer.
For more Jackson Hole inspiration, check out our guides to the resort’s best restaurants and après ski.
