Nahida, also known as Dendro Archon Lesser Lord Kusanali, is finally making her debut in the first half of Genshin Impact version 3.2!

The fourth playable Archon in the game is a 5-star Catalyst user who greatly empowers any team that relies on Dendro’s elemental reactions to deal damage.

Although Nahida may be the youngest (and smallest!) Archon of the group, her intellect and mastery of Dendro should be feared.

Here’s what you need to know before you roll for her!

Physics of purity

Elemental ability of Nahida, All the schemes to know, is the most unique and important part of his kit. First, it works differently depending on whether it is pressed or held down.

When pressed, Nahida deals Dendro area-of-effect DMG in front of her and marks up to eight opponents with Skandha Seed.

When held, Nahida instead enters an aiming mode (much like the Fayz Trials event in version 3.0) which increases her resistance to interruptions and allows you to select up to eight opponents in a limited area who will receive Dendro DMG. These opponents will also be marked with the Seed of Skandha.

Enemies marked by the Seed of Skandha will be linked to each other up to a certain distance and, by inflicting elemental reactions on them, will unleash Tri-Karma Purification, inflicting Dendro DMG which reduces to Nahida’s Attack and Elemental Mastery.

Nahida’s ability isn’t limited to just combat. You can also use it to collect some plants and read the minds of people who have an Akasha terminal.

the explosion of Nahida, Illusory heartunleash Shrine of Maya over a huge area, providing some buffs based on the elemental affiliation of other characters in your party, such as:

  • Pyro: Increases the DMG of Tri-Karma Purification

  • Electro: decreases the interval between Tri-Karma Purifications

  • Hydro: Increases the duration of the Shrine of Maya

Having two characters for each element type will further increase the buff each element can provide.

the passive of Nahida, Enlightened compassion, increases the Elemental Mastery of the active character within the Maya Sanctuary field by 25% of the Elemental Mastery of the character in your party with the highest Elemental Mastery. The maximum bonus you can get from this passive is 250 Elemental Mastery.

Finally, the Awakening clarified The passive grants Nahida 0.1% bonus DMG and 0.03% bonus DMG to cleanse Tri-Karma from All Must-Know Patterns for each point of her Elemental Mastery above 200. This way, can get a maximum of 80% bonus DMG and 24% Crit Rate.

Thanks to her versatile kit, Nahida can play both as a secondary off-court DPS and as a primary DPS on the pitch.

Either way, much of your damage will come from Tri-Karma Cleansing from All Patterns to Know, so leveling up this feat should be your top priority.

Illusion Heart should be leveled up later, as the buffs it will provide are indispensable.

The level up of Nahida’s normal attacks will depend on the style of play you are looking for.

If you want it to be your main DPS on the field, you need to level up. Otherwise, you can forgo leveling up this talent.

When using Nahida in combat, first use her ability to mark as many opponents as you can with Seed of Skandha.

After that, she uses her burst, then switches to the other characters and activates elemental reactions, which will allow Nahida to deal out-of-bounds damage with Tri-Karma Purifications.

The Archon Dendro descends

Nahida is essential for many teams that revolve around Dendro-based reactions, so here are a few:

The generous flowering of Nilou

If you have Nilou, Nahida will be a very important part of his team composition. Nahida can act as the lone Dendro applicator alongside Nilou and two other Hydro characters, or pair up with Dendro Traveler or Collei for a more balanced approach.

Aggravate

Nahida can be set in a team consisting of Cyno, Keqing, or Yae Miko as a Dendro applicator to help trigger the Aggravate reaction. The party should consist of: Electro DPS, Nahida, an Anemo holder with 4-piece viridescent vener and a flexible slot for a battery, healer or shield.

Overflowing

Nahida will be paired with an Electro and Hydro team who focus on the Hyperbloom reaction to take on DMG. The team should consist of Nahida, Fischl or Yae Miko, Xingqiu or Kokomi and Saccarosio, Kazuha or Venti.

Bud

Nahida can be performed alongside Thoma, Xingqiu or Kokomi and Sucrose, Kazuha or Venti to create explosive Dendro Cores.

Team all Archon

Since Nahida is the fourth playable Archon in the game, we now have enough to field an All-Archon Team with Nahida, Raiden Ei, Venti and Zhongli.

This composition is basically just an Aggravate team for Raiden Ei.

Nahida will act as Sub DPS and Dendro off-screen applicator, Venti will be the Anemo Support with 4 pieces Viridescent Venerer, while Zhongli will be the Shielder.

You can still do a normal build for your Raiden Ei with this composition, as Nahida’s Compassion Illuminated passive will give her enough Elemental Mastery while in the Shrine of Maya.

Weapons

Nahida’s best weapon will be the new 5-star catalyst, A Thousand Floating Dreams, as it’s tailor-made for her kit. But if you’re not too keen on spending Primogem for the weapon banner (with Scaramouche coming in 3.3), you can choose to give her these alternatives:

  • The truth of Kagura (5 star gacha)

  • Sacrificial fragments (4 stars, Gacha)

  • The Widsith (4 stars, Gacha)

  • Wandering Evenstar (4 stars, Gacha)

  • Sea Map (4 stars, Craftable)

  • Fruit of the realization (4 stars, Craftable)

For Artifacts, you can never go wrong by equipping her with a full set of Deepwood Memories, as she increases her Dendro DMG and decreases Dendro’s RES of her opponents.

However, if you already have a Dendro character on your team with Deepwood Memories, you can opt for the 4-piece Gilded Dreams instead, which increases his elemental mastery and ATK depending on the elemental affiliation of the other characters in your party.

Nahida wants as much Elemental Mastery as possible, so getting Elemental Mastery as the main stat for your sands, chalice and headband is a must. If you want a more DPS approach, a Crit Rate / DMG Circlet will work too, whatever you’re missing.

As for substats, prioritize Elemental Mastery and Crit Rate / DMG, although Energy Recharge or ATK% are also welcome.

Nahida is featured in a double banner alongside Yoimiya in the first half of Genshin Impact version 3.2. The current version will run until December 6th.

Genshin Impact versions 3.0, 3.1, and 3.2 will have five weeks shortened runtimes instead of the usual six weeks, likely to catch up with the game’s original release schedule after the 2.7 release was delayed in April.
