Helen Skelton was seen selling a number of possessions from her marriage to Richie Myler on a TV auction show.
The Strictly Come Dancing star, 39, and Myler, 32, wed in 2013 and split this April, four months after giving birth to their third child.
Now in an upcoming TV appearance, Skelton, 39, is seen selling items from her time with the rugby star at the Celebrity Yorkshire Auction House.
The episode, which airs Monday on Really, sees the host sell an antique vaulting horse that was given to her and her ex at their December 2013 wedding.
In addition to the antique vaulting horse, the former Blue Peter host also notably sold two Art Deco armchairs and a Victorian dentist’s chair among the 18 items she auctioned off.
According to The Sun, Skelton said on the show, “This is a great opportunity to get rid of a load of stuff.”
A source also told the publication, ‘Helen was in need of a big fix after the breakup and while some of the items held many mementos, she felt they were best sold.’
The Countryfile presenter’s items are believed to have sold for a total of £965 at auction. The Standard has reached out to representatives of Helen Skelton for comment.
After the couple’s breakup earlier this year, they continued to live together for months after their marriage failed, but avoided each other.
In an interview unearthed before they officially split, when Skelton was asked if their stay under the same roof had rekindled romantic feelings, she replied: ‘No… We’re not in the house together – we stay out there. ‘one from the other way.
“We say this is the dream as we have breakfast, lunch and dinner together, but then we take turns looking after the kids.
“You appreciate each other in this situation. I don’t think he’s ever going to say, ‘What do you do with the kids all day?'”
“Sometimes I’d come in from work and he’d be that husband who would look at the kitchen and say, ‘How is it still a mess when she’s out all day?'” she added to The Mirror. “Now that she’s done that, she’s like, ‘How does she stay sane?'”
Skelton and his three children have since returned to live with his parents in Cumbria.
The TV star is currently single while Myler has quickly moved in with new girlfriend Stephanie Thirkill, also 32, with the new romance coming to light in May, days after it was announced that his wedding of eight years with Skelton was over.
Thirkill’s father, Andrew Thirkill, is the multi-millionaire chairman of Myler’s rugby league club Leeds Rhinos.
It was recently revealed that Myler is expecting a baby with his new girlfriend.
