The Marvel Cinematic Universe is expanding bigger than ever as Ant-Man and The Wasp heads to the Quantum Realm for its latest installment.
Paul Rudd is back in business as Scott Lang/Ant-Man, and Evangeline Lilly as his superhero partner The Wasp as they are in over their heads more than ever.

What is the Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantummania release date?
Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania will be released in the UK on February 17, 2023. It is directed by Peyton Reed, the director behind the first two Ant-Man films.
It’s also been confirmed to run at a whopping 125 minutes (just over two hours), making it the longest Ant-Man movie yet.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: the first reactions of Quantummania
Early reactions to the third Ant-Man film were shared by film critics on social media following the film’s Hollywood premiere on Monday, Feb. 6.
While there are no official reviews – they are embargoed until release – film industry professionals have been largely positive about the film, many praising Jonathan Majors’ performance as the villain Kang. Buzzfeed’s Nora Dominick tweeted to say Majors is “compelling, chilling, and already delivers top-notch performance,” while Germain Lussier of Gizmodo said “it has humor, heart, Kang completely rules and Michelle Pfeiffer steals it.”
Not everyone was so outgoing, con Richard Nebens of The Direct says the film “takes big swings, hits most but not all. Captivating visuals that elevate an entertaining story, but lacked some stakes.”
Who is the protagonist of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania?
Naturally, Ant Man and The Wasp: Quantumania wouldn’t work without its main stars, so Paul Rudd will return as Scott Lang/Ant-Man and Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne/The Wasp.
However, they won’t be traveling through the Quantum Realm on their own, with Michael Douglas as Hank Pym and Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne.
The Society star Kathryn Newton will also join the cast as Scott’s now-adult daughter, Cassie Lang. The character was previously played by Abby Ryder Forston in 2015’s Ant-Man and Emma Fuhrmann in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.

Jonathan Majors is one of the most exciting additions to the cast, making his first film appearance as Kang the Conqueror. He previously appeared in the small screen Loki under the name He Who Remains.
Randall Park will return as the FBI agent with ties to the wider MCU, having previously appeared in the second installment of the Ant-Man franchise, Ant-Man And The Wasp, as well as the Disney+ series, WandaVision.
As revealed in the new trailer, Corey Stoll returns to the Ant-Man franchise in Quantummania as well. Having previously played Darren Cross-aka Yellowjacket-he is now taking on the role of classic Marvel villain MODOK.
The other cast is held close to the chest, with The Good Place’s William Jackson Harper as a character named Quaz and Bill Murray as Kryler.
What is the plot of Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantummania?
The official synopsis for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania has been confirmed as the official start of the fifth phase of the MCU.
In the film, Scott Lang (Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Lilly), set out to explore the Quantum Realm, “interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible.”

Among them will be the MCU’s first interaction with Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors), which will have major repercussions for the Marvel world at large in upcoming films and series, not least the showdown with the Avengers in Avengers: The Dynasty. Kang.
Other than that, in classic Marvel fashion, little more is known about what to expect, but you can imagine there will be some shocks in store, and almost certainly tie-ins to shows and movies within the universe.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has post-credit scenes?
YES. Reports from the Ant-Man 3 premiere have confirmed this the film has two post-credits scenes. Marvel Studios likes to tease future movies and introduce major new characters in their post-credits scenes, and the new Ant-Man movie is no different. No spoilers from us though.
